Is this a pre-purchase inspection (PPI)?+
No — and we'll never pretend it is. AutoKnow is the screen you run before a PPI. It reads the listing photos and tells you exactly what to check; a physical inspection confirms the things a camera can't see. Those, we mark needs-PPI — we never guess.
Which cars and sites does it work on?+
Enthusiast and performance used cars — Porsche, Ferrari, fast Audi, BMW and Mercedes, classics and the rest. Point it at listings on Collecting Cars, Carsales, Bring a Trailer, PistonHeads and most major marketplaces.
What if the listing photos are poor?+
Then the report says so. AutoKnow scores only what the photos actually show and flags the rest as needs-PPI. Fewer or worse photos mean a more cautious report — never an invented one.
